Svetu je potrebna solidarnost. Vaš doprinos je važan. UN75 – The world needs solidarity. Your contribution is important. UN75

On the occasion of the global action UN75 2020 and Beyond, Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration, in cooperation with several local media in Kosovo, organized the recording of a live TV show on RTV Mir in Leposavic, TV Herc in Strpce, TV Kim in Caglavica / Gracanica and TV Puls in Silovo /Gnjilane, as well as on social networks. The project is funded by the United Nations Kosovo Team/ UNKT.

It was the first time that a TV debate was realized and broadcasted in Serbian language, live in Kosovo with several interlocutors outside the television studio, which enabled interaction with the audience that had the opportunity to participate in the poll, which was available on the FDMC Facebook page.

Congratulating the team of Radio Television Puls, which was in charge of the realization and live broadcasting of the TV show, the director of FDMC, Dejan Radivojevic, pointed out that this is a great professional achievement of the media in Serbian language from Kosovo.

„We have shown that there are educated and capable people in the Serbian community in Kosovo, in the field of digital media and online communications, ready to respond to the challenges of modern television production. The case of the first live TV debate broadcast outside the television studio shows that our media are open and mobile to approach their audience in all environments and conditions and thus report in more detail on the problems and needs of the community, which is an important factor for the survival and improvement of the quality of life of Serbs in Kosovo as well as all other citizens”,
Radivojevic pointed out after the live recording and broadcasting of the show.

In the TV show „The world needs solidarity. Your contribution is important „, which aimed to see the global priorities and role of the United Nations now and in the future on the occasion of the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges of modern humanity from the perspective of young people in Gracanica, participated interlocutors from the Serbian, Albanian and Gorani communities: student of faculty of teacher education Belma Maslar, political science student Erna Salihu, Stefan Filipović from the Center for Peace and Tolerance and Filip Dimic from Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration.
