Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration/FDMC payed initial visits to Gracanica and Strpce Collective Centers
On 17th and 18th of April 2019 Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration/FDMC, an UNHCR partner payed initial visits to Gracanica and Strpce Collective Centers and relevant local stakeholders as part of the project “Improved durable solutions opportunities for internally displaced persons“. Forum for Development and Multiethnic Collaboration/FDMC has initiated focus groups in the following collective centers: Padaliste in Gracanica, Junior and Lahor/Elektro Kosovo in Strpce.
The main purpose of the initial focus groups and visits was to present project activities and promote UNHCR protection mechanisms for the person of concern to the Collective Centers beneficiaries and local level relevant stakeholders. In addition, photo exhibition for the World Refugee Day with beneficiaries and Collective Centers Managers was preliminary discussed. Collective Centers beneficiaries and local stakeholders positively reacted and welcomed the overall FDMC/UNHCR initiative, future activities and collaboration.
